Savanna Chestnut

With "My First Rodeo" being one of the more popular tracks off my new "Stitches and Scars" album, I thought it would be a great choice for a fun, summer themed music video.

I try to approach every project with a unique angle and a storyline. So, I thought instead of doing a generic video that just focuses on the singer (myself), what if we found an adorable little cowgirl and cowboy to demonstrate these lyrics? 

From the retro camera work, to the kids running around at the rodeo, to my bandmates grinning on stage, I love how this video turned out! It's even got the bonus of having been filmed in my home state of Kansas at Old Abilene Town at the Wild Bill Hickock Rodeo. I hope you enjoy it too!
